Immigration is one of life’s biggest challenges and major stressors. The pressure it imposes, even after being settled in the new country, impacts the well-being of the individual, family relations, and work interactions. Entrepreneurs are particularly vulnerable to frustration, self-sabotage, and a loss of motivation.
In this session, we will analyze the stressors and how to deal with them at the individual and familial level to preserve wellness, creativity, and productivity which are essential to an entrepreneur’s thriving and success.
Speaker’s bio:
Dr. Behrang Ajam is a therapist/counselor/coach with more than 10 years of experience in individual treatment, parenting challenges, and couple’s issues. Behrang is also an educator/instructor/trainer. The two areas often overlap, enabling him to put to work his experience and education to the full benefit of his clients.
Behrang is a mental health advocate promoting positive psychology through radio shows, podcasts, and published articles for the general audience, including people experiencing cancer and other chronic conditions, teens and adolescents, and their families.
