Description:

Business is not all about profit but there are associated risks that if you do not have a solid plan to mitigate, may result in a huge loss!

Health and safety in the workplace in Ontario is heavily regulated. Any business owner who employs 5 or more employees is expected to know all the laws and regulations applicable to their work and ensure compliance with all of them.
Unfortunately, this matter is often pushed down the priority list until something goes wrong or the inspector of the MOL shows up at the door, which is too late!

Ms. Negar Ashatri is our guest speaker at this webinar as a Health & Safety Expert in Ontario. She would explain related laws and regulations for us to understand the main purpose of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) which is to protect workers from health and safety hazards on the job. Moreover, she will describe the tips to mitigate the health and safety risks at the workplace.

Negar is Senior Construction Safety Officer with Metrolinx in Transit Infrastructure Projects in Ontario and has gained valuable experiences in Oil & Gas, manufacturing, transportation, and construction industries.
